Yayy, part two! XP I had to do this or a certain someone was going to kill me.... You know who you are.
So anyway, here goes, Part Deux.
Reasons Why I Love: Justin Bartha
- He is an amazingly good-looking guy. Come on, have you seen him? If you don't agree with me, you are crazy. Killer smile, gorgeous eyes, and he's just hot, okay? If I have to explain this to you.... Well, you should all know by now.
- I love his sense of humor. His humor is kinda dry, sarcastic-like, sometimes kinda... crude... >> But it's extremely entertaining, I love it so much. He always has some kind of remark or quip about everything, and I just love that.
- He pretty much made the movie National Treasure for me. I don't think that I'd love it nearly as much if our favorite little computer geek wasn't there to make it the awesome, funny adventure that it is to me, hah. Riley rocks.
- He really doesn't think he's better than anyone else. He acts surprised that he even has fans in the first place, even though there are quite a few. XP There's one picture from the Hangover premiere where he's greeting fans and he looks just about as excited as some little kid seeing the presents under the tree on Christmas, and I think that's kinda sweet. He totally keeps his head and is nice to everyone.
-My love for him brought me one of my bestest friends. ^^
- Seriously, if you don't know, just go watch National Treasure. Or Failure to Launch. Right this minute. The man is amazing. Just do it.

Reasons Why I Love.... Part 1
This is my first installment in a random series I'm going to do, giving reasons for why I love a person or thing. I'm not sure what inspired me to do this, but here goes anyway. XP
Reasons Why I Love: Tom Hanks
- First and foremost, he's an amazing actor. He puts something different into every character he plays, because he's done so many different people. Every character is so very different from the others he's done. I've seen at least five of his films, and I've already seen him play a wide array of people. And he's so good, you believe him as anyone.
- He's funny! I saw video of him from the press run for Angels & Demons on all the late night shows and everything, and on SNL, and he was quite amusing. Plus in movies, like Big, for instance, he makes it comical to watch. He seems to have a nice sense of humor and it's entertaining. He's been on Saturday Night Live like 8 or 9 times now, right?
- He cares about the environment and he's very into learning about space. He drives an electric car that never uses gas. He's also very enthusiastic about space, and he's been involved in a few space-related projects (From the Earth to the Moon documentary, Apollo 13, etc.) He also supported Barack Obama for the presidential run this year, which is awesome.
-I am actually very very very (very!) distantly related to him. And it just happens to be through none other than Abraham Lincoln! To explain: I am a very distant cousin of Mary Todd Lincoln through my mother's family. And Tom Hanks just happens to be related to Abe Lincoln himself (Hanks was a family name from Lincoln's mother's side). And they got married. So I think that counts! XP
And that concludes the reasons I love Tom Hanks. Thanks for reading! XP
Arrivedeci, bellezze! ^^

One look and I'm yours... The pull between us...
Ciao, people! ^^
Well, last night I did the Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer society. It's kinda personal to me, because my dad had cancer, and he's a survivor now. I did lose my grandpa to cancer though, back in 2001, which was sad. And my other grandma is a cancer survivor too.
The Relay was fun, we did it overnight, from 6 PM - 6 AM this morning. There, was music and karaoke and lots of walking. Even though it stormed and rained a lot last night and our booth never got to have our Kool-Aid stand. Our ice got all melty. XP We were all crazy tired when we got home, so I didn't get up until two this afternoon.
I have to babysit tonight, and I really don't want to. This basement is cold. And I just watched the last five minutes of the DaVinci Code and started mentally yelling at my screen.
"YES, LISTEN TO WHAT TOM HANKS IS TELLING YOU. HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. IF TOM HANKS SAYS YOU ARE THE LIVING DESCENDANT OF JESUS, BELIEVE HIM. HE'S TOM HANKS, WOULD HE LIE TO YOU?!"
Yes I know I have issues, and I know that Tom Hanks can lie like anyone else. But I was bored and I'm disturbed. So I'm allowed to mentally yell at fictional characters. XP And then I squeed inside at the ending scene because I love it so much and it's just so much fun to watch him finally figure the whole thing and just watch him THINK. I'm probably the only person who says she enjoys watching people think.
And I'm going to use lyrics in my blog titles now. They most likely won't be relevant to whatever is contained inside. The lyric in this one is from "Viva el Amor" from Paola & Chiara. I'm addicted to their music now. XP

A bunch of randomness
Ciao, people reading my blog. XP For the longest time I thought ciao meant goodbye, but it's actually hello.
Right so, having a good day today, I guess. Woke up late, as usual. I love summer vacation! Sat on the couch down here in the basement, listened to music, read Angels & Demons, watched some random YouTube videos my sister wanted to show me. Got dressed, had some lunch - vegetable soup and peanut butter sandwiches, yum yum! Got on here, did some writing, published a one-shot, watched more YouTube videos, listened to more music. Watched Bones, though I missed the end of it because I had to go eat dinner. Did the dishes, and now I'm here, chatting and posting in my blog. That's about it. So productive.
Now for random
- What is up with me and my angst? I write a lot of depressing things, why can't I ever write something happy? I'm not really that angsty in real life, but in my stories there's always people dying or just generally angsting.
- I need to be more active. I spend way too much time on the computer. >>
- You know, I love my friends, but sometimes I do just like to be left alone and not bothered. You ever get that?
- Tonight at dinner we discussed all the things wrong with the world and ended up talking about how America is like the Roman empire and how someday we're going to collapse because of the greed and corruption, like Rome did. I could totally see it happen though. THIS IS WHY HISTORY IS IMPORTANT. WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES THROUGH HISTORY. -ahem-
- I found the video for my new favorite song, Cambiare Pagina, if anyone wants to listen to it. It's totally in Italian, but the music is cool, and I think the girls who sing this song are super pretty. There's an English version too; if you want to hear that one, it's the second video.

We're out of juice!
Well, that wasn't random at all, now was it? XP
Hmm, well, besides the fact that juice is currently absent from our house, not much else is new. 'Cept I got a new computer, which is awesome. My brother-in-law put it together for me, and I really really like it. ^^ It was a graduation present.
Oh yeah, right, I graduated from the eighth grade too! That doesn't happen everyday. I was so excited, and both sets of my grandparents and my big sister and her family came to see it. ^^ Then we went to dinner afterward, and then there was some nice wind! XP Hey, not a weather-person's daughter for nothing, am I?
But besides all that, not much is going on with me. Just enjoying summer vacation and sleeping in, haha. I got a physical for high school the other day, got two shots, that hurt. =/ In fact, my arm where I got the tetanus booster is still a bit sore. Oh well...
And I'm wanting to learn French and Italian. I know the basics of them (hello, goodbye, other random words), and I'm taking French in HS, guess I'll have to learn Italian on my own. And I just happened across this fabulous Italian singing duo, they're called Paola e Chiara (or Paola & Chiara). They have this really cool song called 'Cambiare Pagina' that I really like. I listen to it all the time. ^^
Well, that's all for now, I suppose.
Arrivederci, bellezze! ;D
